As I stood in line at the post office, waiting to mail a package to Jillian with a photo book of our family and a couple of small gifts, I got a call from our adoption agency. We've received our travel notice!
Travel arrangements now are built around when we can get an appointment with the US consulate for Jillian's visa to come to the US. We're asked to give them five dates when we'd like to have this appointment, then they tell us which one we actually get. We've asked for 11/13, 11/14, 10/15, 10/16 or 10/17. Whatever they choose, then we take custody of Jillian on the Monday of the week prior to the appointment, which means we probably fly to China a day or two prior to that. We probably will know more by Wednesday.
