Just got word that the US Consulate in Guangzhou has given us a visa appointment for Jillian on Tuesday, November 13, at 8:30 AM (local time). Our appointment is almost exactly eleven months after we submitted our adoption application on December 12, 2011.
This means also we will most likely meet Jillian for the first time and take custody of her on Monday, November 5th, which is exactly ten months since our first home study appointment last January. We will probably leave Portland on November 2nd.
