They took us to Bel Tramonto (see the post for August 13, 2006) for dinner on Saturday night, which was a very relaxing, enjoyable gourmet experience. Since one of my desires, if not quite a "goal," for our last few weeks in Klamath Falls was to take Jeannette back to Bel Tramonto, the city's best restaurant, for dinner, the evening out served double duty, so to speak. We enjoyed a variety of delicacies, including osso bucco, duck, lobster ravioli, a grilled Caesar's salad, homemade ice cream that I didn't sample but apparently was to die for, and, of course, for me, Diet Pepsi with lime.

You'll remember this weekend for a long time. I'd have to say, Palmer, that I would recognize Laura as the way I remember her back in HS, but I'm not sure I would have ever recognized you. I think, sometimes, that I see the you I remember in your boys though.
I had to go back to read your restaurant review of 8/13/06. Last Saturday was truly an enjoyable evening. As we kept saying, "Where did 2-1/2 hours go??"
So Nancy still thinks I look like I did when I was 11 years old?? :o)
