In Our Hearts There Rings a Melody

In January of 2005, we began the application process to bring a Chinese orphan into our home. Just over one year later, we finally received word on who this little girl would be: Nan Cai Jing from the Maonan County Social Welfare Institute in MaoMing, in the province of GuangDong. We have named her MelodyJoy Marie Muntz.

MelodyJoy was born around April 19, 2005, and found near a gas station on June 19, wearing a pink cotton baby suit, wrapped in a towel and lying in a box.

We finally have received approval to travel to China and so Jeannette, our youngest son Jameson and I will fly to Beijing on March 22, then on to Guangzhou a few days later, where the orphanage will probably deliver MelodyJoy to us. We'll return to the US with our new little citizen on April 5.
