Christmas in April!

First of all, there are two reasons for the dearth of blog updates lately. One is that I've been kind of busy. More of a factor, though, is that I don't have a digital camera and so I don't have photos to post here. However, the family came to visit me last week and then we went to Wisconsin for a few days so there are a lot of pictures in the camera and I'll hope to put a bunch of them on here next weekend.

But today was Christmas in April . . . I returned to campus and was greeted by a beautiful sight: An old, mismatched Hotpoint washer and dryer installed in my apartment! It is so great to be able to wash my clothes without hauling them all to Fort Wayne or spending $4.50 per load at the laundry down the road. I feel incredibly blessed that [1] someone remembered that this old washer and old dryer were sitting unused somewhere on campus and [2] someone else was so thoughtful as to actually load them up and squeeze them through the doorway of my apartment and hook 'em up. I'm lucky to get to work alongside such great people here at Lincoln Christian.

After all these months, I finally figured out where they went. It was nice in our area while it lasted
