Tom and Tina the Turtles
This morning, Jeannette was telling me that she had cleaned Jameson's turtle tank and commented that Tina had grown much faster than Tom. (We can tell them apart because male red-eared sliders have long claws for splashing the water in the mating process.) The rest of the conversation went like this:
Me: Poor Tom.
Her: What do you mean?
Me: He's thinking "She's not the turtle I married."
Her: Oh, you're gonna have to do a whole lot of sucking up for that little comment.
