Totally excited that you might meet the foste...WOW! Totally excited that you might meet the foster parents!!! That may be a very hard day for Jillian and her foster family, but it will help you parent her, knowing something of the personality of the people who have been her family. We find that our Aubrey totally and in every way feels that her foster family was her "real" family, and that we are the "substitute" family (though she loves us and we love her), and I often think it would help us to know more of what the "real" family was like. I wish we could have seen their home and heard/watched them interact with her. What a blessing for you this time will be.
